Everyone Has Pain: What Matters Is What You Do About It

Believe it or not, we all have pain. It is inevitable that we will cycle into and out of pain – what matters the most is what we do about it.

Even Pain Resolution Therapists experience pain. One more time, let me stress that it is what you do about it that counts. Do you mask it with drugs for temporary relief, or are you willing to correct the imbalance and dive into the root cause?

I hurt myself during an exercise class a couple of years ago. How did that happen?

soreness in yoga practicionerI was moving too quickly, and I wasn't fully present to what my body was telling me. As I reflect, I realize now that my body was talking to me before even going into the class. Still, I chose to ignore the signs and performed an exercise that I knew was dangerous for me. By the time I got home, I was in so much pain I could not get out of my car.

Things proceeded to worsen. I could not sit comfortably in a chair or roll over in bed. I even had to ask my daughter for help shaving my legs because I could not bend over!

I was worried for two reasons:

  1. I have herniated a disc before
  2. I was about to leave for a weekend Meditation/SomaYoga Retreat that was a two-and-a-half-hour drive away.

I immediately began practicing SomaYoga exercises and other aspects of the Resolve Pain Guru Method. I found enough relief that I was able to take the long drive to the retreat without incident.

I continued to practice over the weekend. Each day, I felt less pain, moved better, and slept better. Although my injury was serious and extremely painful, I was progressing well in just the matter of a weekend.

Using the Resolve Pain Guru Methodology, I was able to take control of my own healing. In only four days, I transitioned from a 10/10 pain score and impaired mobility to a 3/10 pain score while significantly improving mobility.

Resolve Pain Guru wants to show you how to change your pain and take control of your own healing.
